Convertize has several dynamic plugins, all of which are must-haves for any eCommerce website, but for this article I will focus solely on the one to help you use scarcity to drive conversions.

Just like our other popular SmartPlugins™ – Dynamic text, Geolocation and Urgency – it is a simple drag-and-drop system, built in to the Convertize platform.

As you can see, as soon as you drop it, a menu will appear, giving you the option to change languages as well as giving you a selection of categories of elements to choose from.

Alternatively, you can also choose the custom product option which allows you to write anything that you would like.

You can also change the aesthetic of the real-time number.

This dynamic element will display the number of visitors which have recently viewed your page. This enables you use scarcity to make your customers feel that the item may run out of stock, whilst also acting as a means of leveraging social proof through popularity.
